This is the home of the Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners, Inc. The LTPO was formed in 1944 for the purpose of preserving the health of the lake. We have over 700 members represented by 70+ landing directors from the 47 landings around the lake. Together for more than 60+ years we still are working for lake preservation, fish & wildlife, and quality of living,

The LTPO has long known and supported the special area of ecological interest on the lake known as the Ball Wetlands. An Ecozone in the shallow water area west of the Ball Wetlands known as “The Flats”, would entail limiting negative recreational impacts via recreational use restrictions. Click on the link below to find out more information and a map of the proposed Ecozone for Tippy. |

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources recently adopted a rule which regulates the aquatic plant hydrilla. The rule makes it unlawful to possess or transport hydrilla and gives DNR the authority to implement steps to prevent the dissemination of hydrilla from an infested body of water to other waterways. The DNR recently released Lake Manitou Hydrilla Frequently Asked Questions.
